Cupping Therapy:
Cupping Therapy can help a wide range of problems. Cupping therapy increases blood flow, reduces pain and inflammation, helps break up scar tissue and adhesions, un-impinge nerves, decompress the spine and loosen trigger points without the pain of direct pressure. We actually refer to it as negative pressure, drawing around 3-4 inches of muscle into the cup. Drawing the muscle up and into the cup allows lymphatic fluid and other body fluids to freely flow underneath the tight muscle. While also pulling blood and oxygen into the muscle that is in the cup to help with recovery from whatever ailment is being treated. The purple marks you may see after are actually a good reaction. This means your body understands the problem going on in that area and sending white blood cells to the area to kick start the recovery process and help flush the toxins out of your body. Many people call these purple marks bruises. The purple marks are not bruises despite their appearance.
Gua Sha Therapy:
Gua Sha is a form of scrapping, very similar to the graston technique. This helps to break up adhesions and scar tissue within the muscle. Allowing more blood and oxygen to flow through your muscles freely and allowing more range of motion. We typically pair Gua Sha with Cupping Therapy, but it does not have to be.
Reflexology:
Reflexology points are located on your feet, hands and face. These points directly correlate with all of your other body systems. Such as your kidneys, sinuses, low back, etc. By holding static pressure on these Reflexology points until they release (similar to trigger point therapy) will help heal the other body parts the Reflexology points correlate with as well. The Reflexology points also give us a map of where we need to work directly on issues throughout the rest of the body.
Raindrop Therapy:
Raindrop Therapy uses a combination of Reflexology, Vitaflex, Aromatherapy, Massage Techniques & Essential Oils applied to your spine & feet. Supporting body systems & brings balance to the body. The application is strategic and intentional. Raindrop Therapy is great for treating cold and flu symptoms, detoxing and over all health and wellness, and balance of the body.
